Esther

Join Beth Moore in an in-depth personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried and pressured lives.

This 10-week, interactive study features personal, daily assignments and weekly group sessions with video.Workbooks are $15, payable to LEFC on the first day of class (2/23).

We’re offering a video-only option if you prefer not to commit to the workbook portion.  This option is intended for women who have unpredictable schedules and may not be able to attend every class, such as our moms of young children or the TLC group.

This class is currently closed to new registrants but is being offered in our evening class.

Covenant by Kay Arthur

Have you been looking for that missing piece of "the jigsaw puzzle that completes the picture of our so-great-a-salvation." This class will help you find it.  Studying covenant is discovering a promise that has been there in the Bible all the time, and yet missed for years by many of us.  Understanding covenant enables you to see better that God is the same throughout the Bible, that He has one purpose and a masterplan.

This is a discussion class with minimal homework, or lots of homework--whichever you choose!  We will discuss what covenant means, and then the Abrahamic, Mosaic and new covenants.  You will need your Bible and a notebook of any kind or a workbook which will cost about $25.

The Book of Revelation is the only book of the Bible with a Promise to the reader! Why? What makes this book so special?

Revelation is a "lens" that puts the entire Bible into focus. The lens is focused on the person of Jesus Christ, and his destiny is imminent. This is a book of victory: We are overcomers! We are the ultimate winners in the game of life! (I read the ending: we win!)

One of the reasons this book strikes us as strange is because of our lack of understanding concerning the Old Testament. The Book of Revelation consists of 404 verses that contain over 800 allusions to the Old Testament. These are detailed, along with Chuck's analysis of the design and structure of this fascinating book. Learn about the past, present and future of the Church and our ultimate destiny. This is an ideal "first study" and foundational for every Christian.
