How do I volunteer?

1. Vision 

We believe that you are working in KidMin because God ordained you to be here! Our commitment to each volunteer is to give you an opportunity to serve in your area of gifting! Do you like crafts? Great! Are you an organizer? Super! Don't like kids? We have a place for you! We have openings for teachers, helpers, worshippers, artists, story tellers, caterers, etc. We believe that when you bring who God created you to be to Sunday Mornings, every person who comes into contact with you is blessed! 2. Where do I get started?

• Fill out a volunteer inquiry form and return to the LEFC mailbox of Deanna Heilman.
• We will contact you to discuss where you are interested in serving! You can also shadow other volunteers to figure out where you would fit best. We will help you find the perfect place!
• Sign up for a KidSafe Course*
• Download a volunteer application and a background check form.
  Bring the completed forms to the KidSafe Course or return to the LEFC mailbox of Deanna Heilman. 
• Hand in a copy of your Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance as soon as it arrives at your home (5-6 weeks after completed and returned to Deanna)

KidSafe is an informative, one-hour class that certifies you in all the safety standards we have for LEFC. You cannot work with any children until you have taken this course and filled out the above paperwork. If you are a parent, please consider taking the class, even if you are not interested in volunteering, as it educates you on the protective shield we have in place for your children!
